No athlete

For those rows with no athletes, since there were no athletes present to carry those particular flags, did volunteers carry those flags instead? -boldblazer (talk) 08:12, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Boldblazer, this prompted me to watch the closing ceremony again (made possible by my country's broadcast partner (also the national broadcaster) shoving the content on their digital streaming app). The flags without athletes carrying them were carried during the march in by people wearing the volunteer T-shirt. – robertsky (talk) 15:32, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
