Inconsistencies in the tables

[edit]

The total of votes in the table is inconsistent. If you take 6,059,113 total votes minus 108,887 blank/invalid votes, and use the 5,950,226 resulting valid votes, the votes per parties don't lead to the percentages shown here. For example, for the PSD, with 1,705,777 votes, it make 28.67%, not 28.90. Looking at the source at (e), 5,901,915 is the total of valid votes, with which all the percentages hold. 108,887 is the total of invalid votes (placed as f), and 46,972 the total of blank ones (g). It make a total of 155,859 blank and invalid votes--Aréat (talk) 08:10, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Annoyingly, the tables were originally using the {{Election results}} format, which automatically adds up the totals and calculates percentages, allowing editors to spot errors like this easily. For some reason, they were changed... I don't have time to do a full review now, but I suspect the 'other independents' total is wrong. It's also unclear why several independents have been separated out from the independents line. Number 57 09:08, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, there's no reason for some independents to be singled out like that.--Aréat (talk) 09:39, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Aréat: I've corrected the Chamber of Deputies figures. From what I can work out, (f) is the total of invalid ballots and (g) is blank ballots (Total number of white votes (ballots on which the "Voted" stamp was applied)), so the 99,069 is invalid only. County level figures

[edit]

Can anyone direct me to voting figures at county level? Constant Pedant (talk) 10:14, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox Design

[edit]

Why is the Infobox not designed like the majority of other parliamentary elections in the EU? I think it would be nicer looking if all parliamentary elections pages had the same design, the one already used for the presidential and European elections in Romania. Because (IMO) the current version is a more effective summary of the results. The much larger version is overly complex and harder to read. Number 57 16:43, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's more important to use the template used for most other big elections(EU, Romanian presidential). Also it's not that cluttered. It's the same data as for EU elections, just adaptated for the 2 chambers. Rata R3k7 (talk) 19:55, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
