The story has legs. The Turkish electoral board has overturned the vote that surprisingly elected opposition candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu. The call for a controversial re-vote has also garnered international protests: EU, Germany, France, Belgium, etc. If there is a re-run of this election, that should be incorporated into this page which requires more information, adding a short discussion on "local elections" page with "main article" referral.
