Belgium
[edit]Squad announcement from Norway indicates that Belgium are also playing, but they are not included in the ICC calendar or CI fixtures. Possibly a late entry or a withdrawal, or fielding a non-eligible XI so not T20I status (like Estonia earlier in the year). Who knows, but we can update if necessary when clear. Name formats
[edit]@Lugnuts: On checking again against the scorecards and stats in CI, the following Norway players are spelt out with three words: Farial Zia Safdar, Razia Ali Zade. I noticed an IP editor changed these in the squad list to match the scorecard entries and you reverted back to two words. My understanding was that we generally follow CI listing, and CI has the full name on cards and stats for these two (i.e. all three words). I have now changed the top scorer / wicket takers to match your formatting of the squad list, but wondered if there was a rule regarding the squad list and whether or not the score sections should necessarily match the list or the actual card? Cheers. Bs1jac (talk) 15:49, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
- Ah, I see you are following the source site! In the past we have tended to use the format of the actual scorecard in cases where it differs to the announcement. Also the two 'Shee's include a middle name on the announcement but not on the scorecards (the opposite scenario). Bs1jac (talk) 15:52, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi. Happy for them to match the CI scorecards. The IP editor is some long-term socking from an editor who has an indef' block. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:14, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
Red links
[edit]HawkAussie has removed all player redlinks from score summaries here. This reopens an earlier debate in which I protested at A Simple Human adding them to similar articles that I had put together in Jan 2019 (staring with 2019 ACC Western Region T20). In the end we agreed to include the redlinks and this has become standard across many such articles. I really dont mind either way but think we need some consistency regardless of likelihood of players gaining notability for inclusion (i.e. redlinks for all or no players without their own articles).
