The order of Handicappers
[edit]Hey, I recently went through and added the RealClearPolitics (RCP) Handicapper Race Ratings to all the 2018 gubenatorial races, and every single race previously had at least these 4 in this order 1. The Cook Political Report 2. Rothenberg (Inside Elections) 3. Sabato's Crystal Ball 4. Daily Kos So I followed this format and corrected the few states that varied in this format, and added RCP race ratings 5th and made sure the formating was consistant accross the states with these 5. However, I noticed that when RCP was allready input it went before Daily Kos, but was only contained within a few articles. Daily Kos is fairly explitcitly politically oriented towards liberal politics (as the wikipedia article says) so would you think it would be fair for me to move RCP above daily Kos, because to my knowledge they don't have the same general bias (though I hesitate to start drama with that term). I don't want to like go through them all again right now, but I'm commenting on Texas because why not, though this would apply to all the State gubernatorial election, 2018 pages. I also left Oregon and Iowa as they were, with RCP ahead of daily kos. If I don't get a responce I guess I'll go ahead and do it later
Secondarily I dont understnad why Inside Elections is still denoted as Rothenberg Political Report? I feel like it may be clearer to write inside elections because I certainly didn't understand what it was talking about at first. Again with no comment I may change the display name to Inside Elections --Horkak (talk) 21:46, 9 October 2018 (UTC) Hey! Actually, when I looked into it the page that conglomerates the ratings has the order cook -> inside elections -> sabato -> RCP -> Daily Kos, so i'm gonna go ahead and get started moving these --Horkak (talk) 21:51, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
