Round 4 Trades for MIA, CLE, & GB

[edit]

(Need grid specialist to check reference article links to trades inserted into #101, #114, #123, #138, & #150 | Notes column | Trades rounds 4 & 5 groups | Reference linkys for trades | - 'cuz I am a lazy dummy.)

Round 3 is all wrong

[edit]

Round three is all wrong (I understand the 49ers and Raiders coin-flip is yet to be determined), but I calculate the rounds and got different spots. This was confirmed by nfl.com's order list: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000914707/article/threeround-mock-draft-browns-among-7-teams-that-pick-qb I don't know how to edit it or I'd do it myself.

Jay Ajayi Trade

[edit]

The Eagles traded their 2nd most favourable 4th rounder to the Dolphins. That means that picks 130 and 131 should be swapped. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:1970:4F66:5900:8849:64C3:F2F9:9A94 (talk) 06:15, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ross Cockrell trade

[edit]

There are a number of sources indicating that 'conditional draft pick' received by the Steelers is a 7th rounder from the Giants, not the 6th.

The Browns took Antonio Callaway at pick 105. 2600:1700:D281:27D0:64F8:5EB1:7E99:15E4 (talk) 18:56, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mistakes

[edit]

Because User:Joeykai isn't bothering to update teams alongside picks, this article has tons of mistakes. See Da'Shawn Hand at 114, who Joeykai wrongly says was taken by the Browns, and Michael Dickson at 149, who wasn't drafted by the Broncos. If a pick was made by a team that acquired it in a trade today, chances are Joeykai added the entry and chances are it's wrong.

I know the box at the top tells people that this chart is being updated in real time but even still, people are using this page as a resource and it's pretty harmful that they're getting wrong information. It would be awfully ruthless to undo all of today's edits, particularly since User:Kkuchnir has been doing such good work, but the only other option would be for someone to go through this line by line and individually correct these errors, which (Daurice Fountain, pick #159, was not taken by the Raiders) are still being made as we speak. 2602:306:BC31:4AA0:88FA:D17A:27EC:2C6 (talk) 18:57, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: There are people trying to do this, which is very complicated with obstacles like WP:Edit conflicts. If you are extremely impatient and want absolute up-to-date information, ESPN is doing so. JTP (talkcontribs) 22:05, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mayfield?

[edit]

On the right hand side of the article, there are three pictures of Mayfield, Allen and Jackson with the following caption:

"First-round quarterbacks (from top to bottom) Baker Mayfield, Josh Allen, and Lamar Jackson have made impacts on their teams, each having broken franchise passing records and led their teams to the playoffs; Jackson won the NFL MVP Award in 2019."

Mayfield had a great year for the Browns in 2020, then regressed in 2021 and is no longer on the Browns. I am wondering if the quote should be re-worded or if perhaps only Allen's and Jackson's pictures should remain on there since they're still with their respective teams that drafted them? --My Pants Metal (talk) 19:41, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I rewrote the caption. Stoarm (talk) 11:04, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Am I missing something!?

[edit]

Where is the draft? LOTS of fluff, but where is the data? A list showing who was drafted when but whom. 173.94.3.120 (talk) 02:40, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
