Sources
[edit]Do you have sources for any of this? CrowCaw 00:00, 20 February 2017 (UTC)

I know it may be early....
[edit]But since we know about a date change for one track (NHIS to Vegas), maybe have a stub for now? (sources: Jayski/ESPN)47.208.0.20 (talk) 01:52, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
Block that guy!
[edit]Someone is constantly vandalizing this page, saying that NBC will air the Daytona 500 in 2018 (they won't). Can you somehow protect this page?Pja1981 (talk) 15:42, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
- This guy has a LONG history of "NBC" vandalism. See THIS DISCUSSION here. And that's just his misdeeds from 2017. Doctorindy↔Talk 19:25, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
Additional Vandalism?
[edit]Who edited out the driver for TriStar Motorsports? I know that drive belongs to Cole Whitt as shown on Nascar.com's 2018 driver page. Rapierman (talk) 00:52, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
Circle Sport's Manufacturer
[edit]Circle Sport has announced that their manufacturer will be Ford, so whoever keeps changing it to TBA, please stop. CulusEDit7 (talk) 02:58, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
If you have a reliable, third party source to back it up, feel free to add it. Unsourced additions are almost always removed on pages taht are currently relevant. Willsome429 (talk) 15:23, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
Jeffrey Earnhardt
[edit]Can we please come to the consensus that Jeffrey Earnhardt is just running the 500 with StarCom? My source on this one is Bob Pockrass, whom I trust on issues like this. http://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/cup/story/_/id/22264591/jeffrey-earnhardt-race-2018-daytona-500-startup-starcom-racing I’m tired of seeing editors and mostly IPs go back and forth on this. Willsome429 (talk) 20:20, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Willsome429: Actually, this PR from the team via Jayski says "the rest of the season." --Bcschneider53 (talk) 21:43, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Bcschneider53: I had not seen that. Very well then. I find it interesting that ESPN has two dueling narratives on the site but so be it, I guess. Willsome429 (talk) 22:07, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
Page protection
[edit]- @The Bushranger: Could we get page protection for a while? The whole Danica/Premium situation clearly states that the No. 7 is using the No. 15 the rest of the year and they are not two separate cars. However, some IP addresses feel the need to make the change back to two chartered Premium cars, which is not the case. It is getting tiring of constantly reverting to the tooltip version, which is successfully used in the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series page. Thanks, Willsome429 (talk) 15:38, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
On second thought, the vandalism seems to have quieted down. Never mind. Willsome429 (talk) 18:53, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
BK Racing
[edit]So has anyone heard anything about what's going on with BK racing? and why is Gray Gaulding listed as driver for the Daytona 500? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:A24D:3300:94A:FDBC:74D0:ED9B (talk) 03:27, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
- Because he's listet on the Entry List. Only four unchartered cars (62, 66, 92, 96), none expected to try the full season. --TheK (talk) 20:06, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
the Duels
[edit]The Can-am duels were point races so that should be added in the points total — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.190.37.155 (talk) 17:53, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
Viewership numbers
[edit]Since Nascarking isn't available to post the TV numbers for the races each week anymore, is there anyone else who knows how to do it? It would be nice to see the numbers again. Johnsmith2116 (talk) 22:52, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- I'll look into how to do it. No guarantees but I'll try. Willsome429 (talk) 00:03, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
BK Racing (2)
[edit]Should the 23 be marked as a BK entry or as a FRM entry? The owner continues to be listed as BK Racing on entry lists and by my understanding it's nearly the same group of guys and gals working on the car as before the sale. Plus, wouldn't Front Row switch the number and manufacturer? I know we've had some discussions in edit summaries and would like to gain a clearer consensus. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 14:50, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
- @Willsome429: Looking at their twitter page it looks like the team is still run by BK Racing. I haven't seen FRM tweet anything about the No. 23 team. For now I would still list the team as BK Racing. Jahn1234567890 (talk) 15:21, 18 September 2018 (UTC)

The 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series was the 70th season of NASCAR professional stock car racing in the United States, and the 47th modern-era Cup series season and Joey Logano sucks.
