Eddie Cheever III
[edit]In case there was any doubt, http://johndagys.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/SDRcar.jpg confirms EC3 as racing under the Italian flag. DragonDance (talk) 17:29, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- Flags on cars and uniforms do not inherently confirm anything, there have been many instances of drivers not even using a flag (David Brabham) or switching flags based on series. it is based on licensing and nationality as given to IMSA, and IMSA doesn't do the flags on the cars. That said, Eddie Cheever III has always raced as Italian. The359 (Talk) 20:52, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
Le Mans Challenge
[edit]The Le Mans Challenge cars are still around Wolf O'Donnel (talk) 18:40, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- "Prototype Challenge" as a category used in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship utilizing the Oreca FLM09 is retired. The cars are not actively competing anywhere except in historics. The Mazda Prototype Challenge Series is still functioning and using LMP3 class cars and Elan Mazda Prototypes. These two things are not the same. The359 (Talk) 19:30, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- They are currently hyping up the LMC race at Sebring. Wolf O'Donnel (talk) 17:30, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
- That is the IMSA Prototype Challenge series, which has nothing to do with the Le Mans Prototype Challenge cars that were used in WeatherTech. The359 (Talk) 17:52, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
