Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Please do not copy-paste the entire article onto the talk; I have removed it. If you have suggestions to additions or corrections, you are welcome to open the edit request again. Disaggregation of United Kingdom 1st-level administrative regions

[edit]

Why are the 1st-level administrative regions England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland disaggregated in this article? I don't see any difference in broadcasting rights that would make this distinction salient, and I don't see any good reason to list out the states of Nigeria, the provinces of Belgium, etc. Giving UK 1st-level administrative regions special treatment not afforded to those of other sovereign nations would seem to be a form of systemic bias. I can see a rationale for including territories because their omission could lead to confusion. PhilipR (talk) 05:55, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Upon reflection I guess the rationale is because those four are among the few 1st-level administrative regions that compete as national teams in FIFA competitions? 23:35, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
