[edit]Is there a link to the tournament rules that describe the status of these teams for the 2017 tournament?
- Yes, sorry. It is linked in the lead of the 2016 Division III and I forgot to transfer it. For 2016 the rules themselves were not followed, the Mexican hosts allowed the inclusion of Bulgaria to make it a seven team tournament instead. It remains possible that nations like Chinese Taipei, UAE, Armenia, Hong Kong, or someone else could apply for inclusion, necessitating a qualification tournament. However something like the junior women's Division I Qualification could easily happen despite what the rules say as did the men in 2010 with essentially the same rules.18abruce (talk) 16:07, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
Thanks very much.
QF schedule
[edit]this clearly indicates that Canada plays in the 8:00 game and they will be the home team, TSN keeps stating that Sweden will be the other Bell center game but I do not have a source on that so I understand if that is removed.18abruce (talk) 19:43, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
[1] states the source for the upcoming quarter-finals and is confirmed by Bob McKenzie from TSN. BrokenEars 15:37 31 December 2016 (EST)
