Pepsi
[edit]So, the Pepsi reference in the part about Portland, Oregon doesn't make sense out of context. How can we incorporate Live for Now (Pepsi) so this article makes sense? ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:02, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
Protest against Trump?
[edit]Should 'protests against Trump' templates and categories be added to the article? Some sources mention anti-Trump sentiments:
- http://www.kgw.com/news/politics/may-day-protests-expected-monday-in-portland-across-us/435436532 "May Day, also known as International Workers' Day, annually prompts rallies highlighting workers’ rights. In the U.S., hundreds of thousands of demonstrators across the nation were expected to turn out, many protesting the policies of President Trump."
- http://www.reuters.com/article/us-may-day-usa-protests-idUSKBN17X1H1 "May Day rallies across U.S. target Trump immigration policy"
- https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/01/us/may-day-loyalty-day-protests-trump.html?_r=0 "Labor and immigrants’ rights activists, criticizing Mr. Trump’s detention and deportation agenda, had called for a general strike on May 1, also known as May Day, to emphasize the overlap between the concerns of unauthorized immigrants — on whom farms, restaurants, construction projects and other industries depend — and those of workers"

Day Without Immigrants in Connecticut?
[edit]This source (published May 1) mentions "Day Without Immigrants" protests in 5 cities in Connecticut. I find this a little confusing (not sure if this meant to say May Day protests, or if organizers re-used the event name from Day Without Immigrants), but figured I'd mention here for further research later: http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Hundreds-Take-to-Connecticut-Streets-for-May-Day-Protest-420958803.html. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:04, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
