Removal of referenced content
[edit]Randeepa, 112.134.99.216, and 112.134.102.90 have repeatedly removed reliably sourced content about an all-Sinhala jury acquitting the suspects accused of assassinating Nadarajah Raviraj. The excuses used to remove the content is not based on any policy but on a desire to promote their own WP:POV. Here in Wikipedia we include what WP:RS say. Several WP:RS have reported the fact that the jury was all-Sinhala, showing that this was significant:
- Foreign and Commonwealth Office - Human Rights Priority Country status report: July to December 2016: "Concerns were raised as the accused were acquitted by an all-Sinhalese jury".
- The Hindu - Raviraj murder: Acquittal raises credibility concerns: "Following an all-Sinhalese jury’s verdict..."
- The New Indian Express - Court of Appeal petitioned for retrial of Raviraj murder case under anti-terror act: "The Colombo High Court had acquitted the five persons accused of killing Tamil National Alliance parliamentarian N.Raviraj on the basis of the view of an all-Sinhalese jury".
- The Island (Sri Lanka) - Plea for retrial of Tamil MP’s assassination case under anti-terror law to be heard on March 3: "Earlier, the five accused, three of whom were naval intelligence personnel, had pleaded for a trial by an all-Sinhalese jury..."
- The Sunday Leader - Family Of Raviraj Awaits Justice: "An all-Sinhalese jury said eyewitness testimony identifying the suspects was ‘insufficient’".
- Tamil Guardian - Five accused in MP Raviraj’s assassination acquitted: "Through a unanimous decision by the all Sinhala jury...".
