Split electoral college vote?
[edit]Is Maine really the only state in the country that splits its electoral vote? How does it get away with this? --Haruo (talk) 02:04, 16 November 2016 (UTC) Nebraska also slits its electoral votes Flow 234 (Nina) talk 19:36, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
The (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Constitution#Government_processes_and_procedures_.28Amendments_12.2C_17.2C_20.2C_22.2C_25.2C_and_27.29)U.S. Constitution, as currently amended, only stipulates that states' electoral college votes should each be for a President/Vice President pair, each of whom should be from a separate state. It says nowhere that all EC votes must be for the same pair. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.121.34.67 (talk) 19:29, 16 July 2017 (UTC)
