Colombia
[edit]Local elections in Colombia on October 24. But I have no idea how to update the map. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.172.32.242 (talk) 12:37, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
- They are in the Local electoral calendar 2015--Ymblanter (talk) 03:08, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Greece
[edit]Whats up with the edit war over Greece? Please explain in the talk section guys.--Batmacumba (talk) 23:08, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, found it: [1], but always best to write a bit on the talk page, when you got an edit war going, makes it a lot easier to figure out what is going on.--Batmacumba
Elections removed
[edit]A number of elections and referenda that have been removed without a proper explanation. I reinstated the Parliamentary election in Poland, but there are also the Presidential election in Poland which will take place in June at the latest, the constitutional referendum in Burma and the Presidential elections in Latvia and Lebanon (next round January 7). It would be good if posters made a note in the talk section before removing elections. As it is now the editing process appear very confusing.--Batmacumba (talk) 14:06, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
Gibraltar
[edit]What was the reasoning for reverting the addition of the Gibraltar general election? [2]
The opening paragraph states that this is a list of elections in "sovereign states and their dependent territories", Gibraltar is a dependent territory of the UK and so qualifies for this list. Also, Gibraltar's elections have been included in previous years (see National electoral calendar 2011#December). Thanks. --Philip Stevens (talk) 09:56, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
- This article supposedly follows List of sovereign states, and Gibraltar isn't included there. –HTD 15:06, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
- I see that I've been reverted. Gibraltar isn't listed in List of sovereign states, either in "UN member states and observer states" or "Other states". That's the list we're supposed to follow. It's mentioned under "United Kingdom", making it eligible to be listed in Local electoral calendar 2015, along with the likes of Hong Kong and Guernsey, and not here. –HTD 17:32, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
- The page states "This national electoral calendar for the year 2015 lists the national/federal direct elections to be held in 2015 in all sovereign states and their dependent territories." That seems clear enough to me. Gibraltar is a Dependent territory of the UK so that makes it eligible to be on this page.Martin a Donkey (talk) 17:31, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Indirect elections
[edit]The description of the article excludes indirect elections whereas the list includes some major indirect elections. Which one should be updated to restore coherence? Wykx (talk) 09:01, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
- Indirect elections should be removed to secure consistency.--Batmacumba (talk) 11:18, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
