Again, very sorry about the long delay. But now let's get to it:

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Overall, this is a very good and detailed article. I made two minor changes myself. There are just some very minor points that caused me to put this on hold, which are:

  • Second paragraph: "The 2015 race consisted of six stages". How does that compare to previous editions? Did it change?
  • Stage 6: First you say there are six laps on the circuit but two paragraphs later you state the intermediate sprints are after laps 4 and 7. That does not add up.
  • The photos do not appear to be from the race the article is about. The captions should state when the pictures were taken.
  • How many riders entered the race (also how many to each team)? And how many finished the race?

You should be able to clear those out in just a few minutes and this article will get my GA-approval in no time :) Zwerg Nase (talk) 16:04, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Zwerg Nase for what was clearly very careful reading of the article and four very good points. I've addressed all these issues. I have a slight question about how I've added the dates to the photographs – is that what you meant? Relentlessly (talk) 21:13, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I would recommend following the example set here: 1985 Giro d'Italia. If naming the contest were the picture was taken makes the caption too long, then I guess just writing "(pictured here in 2013)" would be fine as well. Apart from that, everything seems to be in order. Zwerg Nase (talk) 22:20, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Zwerg Nase. I've used your second option, as there isn't much information on some of the images. Relentlessly (talk) 08:23, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And there we go! Congrats! :) Zwerg Nase (talk) 10:22, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
