Alright I will be picking up the review, both to help out my fellow Wiki Cup participants and to earn points for the GA cup as well.

Side note, I have my own GA nomininations (CMLL World Tag Team Championship, CMLL World Welterweight Championship, CMLL World Trios Championship and CMLL World Middleweight Championship) and need input on a Featured List candidate (Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship) and a Featured Article candidate (CMLL World Heavyweight Championship). I am not asking for Quid pro Quo, but all help is appreciated - especially FL and FA input,

@MPJ-DK: I don't have much experience with FAs and FLs, neither with Wrestling, but I'll see what I can do. Thanks for taking on this review! Zwerg Nase (talk) 19:31, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Anything you can do is appreciated, large or small.  MPJ-US  20:34, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I like to get this checked out first, I have found issues using this that has led to quick fails so it's important this passes muster.

Well Written

[edit]
  • "monuments in the 2015 calendar" should that be "on the 2015 calendar"
 Done
  • "only very slightly" I don't think we need the word "very", slightly will suffice.
 Done
  • "neutral zone" - can you link to that term? I am not sure what it means in Cycling terms.
 Done
  • Same with the term "peloton" is there a link that could be added?
 Done
  • "These including the" should be "These included the"
 Done
  • "who came off the back of a", not sure I like the way this is phrased, I cannot put my finger on it though. Perhaos something like "who came into the race with a victory..."?
 Done
  • "his teammate for this race.", I assume that team mate was Alexander Kristoff?
 Done
  • "them, eventually to no avail" I would remove the word "eventually"
 Done
  • "little later, when it" no need for a comma
 Done
  • "leading at a maximum of half a minute." = how about "leading by half a minute at one point."
Hmm, the source says that he created a gap of half of minute which I would read as that this was the maximum gap. Writing "half a minute at one point" would indicate that the gap might have been bigger at one point, so I prefer the current wording, since it is more precise about the nature of the attack.
  • "with Terpstra he" should be "with Terpstra, he"
 Done

Sources/verifiable

[edit]
Generally considered a RS in the WikiProject, so much so that there has been a template created for the site. Zwerg Nase (talk) 13:17, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent then this section is A-Ok Green tickY  MPJ-US  13:20, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Broad in coverage

[edit]
  • I think it's saying everything that can be said without becoming redundant Green tickY

Neutral

[edit]
  • Just the facts ma'am and attributation to various statements on favorites. Green tickY

Stable

[edit]
  • It's not a current or even recent event article. I see no problems with the stability. Green tickY

Illustrated / Images

[edit]
  • Image do not have Alt texts, please add one for each image.
 Done (I think...)
  • All image licenses check out okay.

General

[edit]
  • Disappointed that there is not a singles "Hi-deli-ho" joke in there ;-)
No one is more disappointed about that than I am. Then again, the Simpson history of cycling is rather bleak. On a brighter note, Homer isn't a big fan of bicycles either...
  • I think the second paragraph can be expanded past a single sentence can't it?
I guess you mean the lead? Then  Done
  • Table - is it normal for results tables in cycling to not be sortable?
No, this is not normal, and I do not quite understand why that should be necessary in the case of a result table? It is supposed to be sorted from first to tenth, no other sorting really has any purpose...

- @Zwerg Nase: - I believe that's the complete review for now. Not a lot to address which is what we expect for GA status so good work so far. I am putting the reivew on hold for up to 7 days to allow for improvements to be made. Let me know when you are ready for me to look at this again.  MPJ-US  22:32, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think all is done, let me know what you think :) Zwerg Nase (talk) 14:02, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Zwerg Nase: Based on a quick read through it looks good, issues seem to be addressed. I am just going to do one last read through to make sure nothing else jumps out at me.
Congratulations on a job well done. I am passing this for GA, the both will update it with the GA logo and I will update article class in a moment.  MPJ-US  00:58, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
