I make neither changes nor demands, but I will comment: it seems awkward to say that Brazil "qualified" for the Olympics, since "qualified" suggests that they did something to earn that spot when they didn't. They were certainly awarded a spot in the tournament (here and in other team sports on the 2016 Olympic program) at the time when the games themselves were awarded to Brazil. They were not obliged to play in this tournament any more than the American team were, having already been guaranteed a spot, and as such, the "qualified" does seem a subjective disservice to the eight teams that made it out of the group stage ahead of Brazil. Again, my subjective parsing, but to refer to them as the "Olympic hosts" is both sufficient and more appropriate/correct. Absurdist1968 (talk) 11:03, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
