Image choices

I an requesting feedback on image choice. There were several players for whom I had difficulty choosing which image from Commons:Category:2014 McDonald's All-American Boys Game to use. The ones that I remain most unsure whether I should swap images are shown below. However, you are free to suggest any others that I should consider swapping. I have only cropped about half of the images so far so if you like one that needs to be cropped I will get to it. None are ideal, in 3, best view, but he is just standing there. In 1, he is out of bounds, but I bet they missed it, plus hard to tell who it is. 2 is a better action image, but hard to tell who it is.--S Philbrick(Talk) 14:21, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
- I am surprised at how much people want to see a clear view of the faces. I am beginning to wonder if I should be cropping pictures of guys waiting for the free throw shooter to shoot while standing in the lane. I have one of Booker like that. Of course, since he is standing totally still, the picture is pretty good.   - For a picture representing a player, it should be a picture of the player IMO. Action shots get messy with multiple players and more about the action taking place(if i want to see dunks I'll youtube it). I'd like to see the pictures of waiting for free throw shots. If Jackson wasn't making such funny faces these might be good shots of him.       - Nothing is great there, but just for example look at Lebron's page. Most are him holding the ball, a couple action shots but focused only on him. There is a happy middle ground somewhere.
