Northern Knights
[edit]Is it Northern Knights or District, cricinfo says its districts, but clt20 site shows it as Northern Knights. There is another page with the same name (Australian rules football club). Any help.--Vin09 (talk) 14:26, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- The official website says its Northern Knights..yahoo too call its knights....so it's rather complicated....tried for WP:COMMONNAME? ƬheStrikeΣagle 15:08, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- It seems Northern Knights gives 863k hits while Northern District Cricket gave 140k hits....per commonname, we can probably take knights....Better to ask a few other opinions.. Cheers, ƬheStrikeΣagle 15:10, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Both are correct. The team is called "Northern Districts" in FC and List A competitions, and "Northern Knights" in the domestic T20 tournament. For this article, since it is a T20 tournament, using "Northern Knights" seems appropriate.117.192.166.151 (talk) 11:31, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
