Both Red Bulls switched to the hard-compound tyres and Alonso decided to run on the softer compounds
— When? Were they allowed to pit during the stoppage? Or was it after they restarted?- On the grid during the stoppage MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
to improve the possibility of making a solitary pit stop.
— What does this mean?- Have clarified MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
DRS was enabled on lap six.
— Maybe this will be clear when DRS is clarified above, but who enabled it/what did enabling it do?- Have mentioned what DRS is in the background section MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
but went into the Lotus' left-hand side
— Who went?- Clarified MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
- It's still confusing, because there are three people mentioned: "Gutiérrez attempted to pass Maldonado, who sought to overtake Bianchi, but the former hit the Lotus' left-hand side." The "former" could be either Gutiérrez or Maldonado. Can you just rephrase to "Gutiérrez hit the Lotus'" or "Maldonado hit the Lotus'"?
- Nevermind, looked at source and clarified.

It released the faster Bottas

who was delayed by 1.7 seconds
— Meaning his pit stop took 1.7 seconds longer than average, or something else- Longer than usual MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Vettel passed Magnussen through Brooklands the entry to Luffield corner

With the top two positions settled
— Why were they settled?Bottas made his second pit stop on lap 42
— lap 32?Bottas glimpsed space to pass Vettel for second
— Looks like second place wasn't settled after all.- See above response MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Alonso passed Vettel around the outside at Copse corner ... That prompted Vettel to use DRS; ... Alonso was faster through the straight and Woodcote turn to pass the defensive Vettel
— Alonso passed Vettel twice?- Have rewritten the sentence MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
the same manoeuvre
— What one?Maldonado's exhaust failed on the 51st lap
— The chart below says lap 49.- The chart states how many laps a driver had completed and the abbr template is used at the top of the table to clarify this
- If his exhaust failed on lap 51, hadn't he at least completed lap 50?
- After looking at the source, it looks like his exhaust failed on lap 50, not 51: "Lap 50 It's comfortable for Hamilton out in front. No issue with his car today, well with two laps to go. Vettel speaks to his Red Bull, "I can smell burning". He's right. Maldonado's car is smoking. He pulls up and that's heartbreaking for the Lotus driver."
- No it was lap 51. I've watched a copy of the race and used another source to back up the claim. MWright96 (talk) 06:15, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
- Why is he credited with 49, rather than 50, laps completed? --Usernameunique (talk) 20:55, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
- He was lapped by the race winner. MWright96 (talk) 04:43, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- I think I understand now. So you're measuring laps by the lap the current leader was on? So for example, if someone was 25 laps in and crashed, but the leader at that point was on lap 50, you would say the crash occurred on lap 50? --Usernameunique (talk) 04:53, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, that would be the case. MWright96 (talk) 04:59, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
- Cool. That makes sense then, thanks for clarifying. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:02, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

the 27th of his career to equal three-time World Champion Jackie Stewart's total of race wins.
— Where did this rank all time?- That is not stated in the sources MWright96 (talk) 08:30, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Ricciardo was third.
— How far back of Bottas?Hülkenberg held off Kvyat to take eighth and Vergne was tenth.
