Right then. Harrias talk 10:35, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Lead
- Why do you explain the abbreviation for LMP2, after not doing it for LMP1-L?
- Circuit and regulation changes
- "Speeds within the zones are monitored by GPS systems now required on every car." I'd get rid of the "now", given it isn't 2014 anymore.
- "In conjunction with the slow zone procedure an onboard marshalling system will warn drivers of the location of slow zones." Similarly, change "system will warn drivers" to "system warned drivers".
- Entries
- "As with the 2013 race, the American Le Mans Series was given two "at large" entries rather than entries for each class." I don't understand what this means by ""at large" entries".
- I am not certain as to what "at large" means but I believe they are selected entries from the wider series (not necessarily the champion of an individual) or something along those lines. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- I can't see this in the reference provided at all? Harrias talk 18:56, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Since that is the case, the definition has been changed to the one provided in the source into the automatic entries table. MWright96 (talk) 19:29, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- The prose will need changing too. Harrias talk 19:35, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- That task has been undertaken. MWright96 (talk) 19:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

- Testing and practice
- "Toyota set the pace of the day with a three minutes and 23.014 seconds lap set by Buemi.." Repetition of "set".
- Resolved. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- "..in the second session, followed by Nakajima in the No. 7 Toyota in second. The No. 3 Audi of Marco Bonanomi was within a second of the top time, while the fastest Porsche was over a second and a half behind Buemi's lap." Immediately followed by this, which repeats "second" (in two meanings) quite a few times quickly. Might be largely unavoidable, but if it can be adjusted, that'd be great.
- Changed it so it is two separate sentences. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Qualifying
- Is there any more information on Curtis; we find out that he was knocked unconscious, and didn't race, but little more.
- Curtis was transported to hospital and was ruled out of Le Mans by doctors. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- "Calado's was injured from his second qualifying.." Should be "Calado was.."
- The table doesn't need to be at 85% font size. Consider making it sortable, it looks like it would take it pretty well.
- Have set the table size to 90%. With regards to it being made sortable, I had issues with the grid and class columns which are not in the correct desired and of which I cannot seem to fix. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Update. Table has been made sortable with the only issue being the class column. MWright96 (talk) 16:16, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

- Race
- Consider making a level-3 subheading for the warm-up session.
- I find it a little unbelievable that conditions at the start of the race were "air temperature ranging from 12.5–25 °C (54.5–77.0 °F) and a track temperature between 15.5–47 °C (59.9–116.6 °F)" That's a huge range for one moment in time.
- The edits I have made should be much more clearer. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- For clarification "..while further up the Mulsanne several.." might be better as "..while further up the Mulsanne Straight several.."
- "..bringing out the safety cars for the second time." Is there more than one safety car, or was this a typo?
- No this is not a typo. The long layout of the Circuit de la Sarthe necessitates more than one safety car. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- "The resul meant Davidson, Laiperre and Wurz.." A couple of typos there!
- It would nice to have somewhere (unless I missed it) a clarification of the difference between LMP1-H and LMP1-L.
- LMP1-H is the category reserved for hybrid cars while LMP1-L is filled by vehicles who do not have hybrid systems fitted to them. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- References
- All look good, checks reveal no evidence of copyvio or close para-phrasing.
Overall, another good piece of work, that I'll stick on hold. Harrias talk 11:32, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Harrias: Okay. I have made adjustments where possible and have replied where possible to your queries. MWright96 (talk) 15:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for your quick work on this one, it all looks good to me now. Harrias talk 21:27, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
