Is the scandal all over then?

[edit]

Or is it still ongoing, there has been no report letting us know that the scandal is over — Preceding unsigned comment added by ICryOverSpiltMilk (talkcontribs) 23:24, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Restored image

[edit]

I put the Tesco shelves image, deleted 9 August, back in the article. I agree it's not a terribly useful because the text was blurred for copyright reasons. But it is a photo taken at the time of a supermarket cabinet which was cleared of its meat stock. I'm not sure why someone has got worked up about it now, ten years on. Well because of the text blur, the image gives little to no value to the article, and is no better than just putting a photo of a horse on the page. And the low quality unblurred version would most likely fall under fair use, I mean Wikipedia uses low quality clips of copyrighted songs under fair use, so i believe the unblurred version wouldnt raise any problems. And why would Tesco go out of their way to copystrike some text from 10 years ago? For this reason, Ill be removing the image for the time being. 82.132.184.129 (talk) 13:53, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's just a photo of an emptied supermarket cabinet. I still have no idea why you're upset about this. Why get worked up about an image of a freezer cabinet from 2013? Pasicles (talk) 08:45, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
because no company would go out of their way to sue someone for taking a photo of some text they wrote 10 years ago 2A02:A311:C23E:5D00:C49D:3FA3:A7E7:7C0F (talk) 08:02, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
