I'll take this one.
- "Sam Bird after starting from third position," I'd replace BIB with who for clarity
- "Johnny Cecotto Jr. won the pole position for the feature race by setting the fastest lap in qualifying but lost the lead to teammate Evans", comma before but here
- In background, "After the strong start to his season, Frijns confirmed on Twitter," how about "After his strong start to the season..."
- Need citation for "Only minor off-track excursions were reported with Stéphane Richelmi spinning at La Rascasse corner and stalled in his attempt to continue driving."
- Used the Autosport ref in the paragraph to cite that information. MWright96 (talk) 20:18, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
- "Weather conditions were warm and sunny." needs ref
- Removed as I could not find any definitive source for this statement. MWright96 (talk) 20:18, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
- "Bird was fastest in the first sector but lost six tenths of a second in the final two sectors and could only muster third," I'd put comma before but
- "After gaining a place at the start of the race to run in seventh ahead of Ceccon, Bird was challenged by the driver who put his car on the line entering the Novelle Chicane forcing Bird to overshoot the corner to avoid colliding with him," this could be cut into two sentences or better, trimmed.
- Removed "After gaining a place at the start of the race to run in seventh ahead of Ceccon" MWright96 (talk) 20:18, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
- "Coletti's control of the lead was waning because of tyre degradation removed some of his earlier fast pace and handling causing his lead over Quaife-Hobbs to be reduced to one second and less than four seconds covered the first five runners with a 14-second gap over a battle for sixth place between Binder, Ceccon and Richelmi," trim, cut! "Coletti's control of the lead was waning because of tyre degradation removed some of his earlier fast pace and handling, causing his lead over Quaife-Hobbs to be reduced to one second. less than four seconds covered the first five runners with a 14-second gap over a battle for sixth place between Binder, Ceccon and Richelmi." → much better
- "Peter Allen of Formula Scout argued that while Cecotto's manoevure was not clearly malicious in intent, he believed Cecotto deserved the race ban and that it would help him realise that he needed to control his aggressiveness," spelling of manoeuvre is incorrect. I'd change the last bit to "...was not clearly malicious in intent,
he believedCecotto the Venezuelan deserved the race ban and..." to avoid name repetition. - In the feature and sprint race tables why are certain names and teams bolded? Clarify with a note underneath the table for readers.
- Included his suggestion above the source column in both tables. MWright96 (talk) 20:18, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
- Dutch names like De Jong are lower case when full (ie: Robin van Persie), but capitalised when last name is used (Van Persie scored...). So changes needed for summary.
All in all, it's a high-quality piece and very hard to nitpick. References are formatted consistently, no issues with dab or dead links. Images hold appropriate licences. Shall pass when you get back to me. Lemonade51 (talk) 17:28, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
