notes on table
[edit]Don't the second and third place teams in Ireland get 1st qualifying round spots for the Europa league? It's listed right now on this page that 2nd place gets a spot in the second qualifying round. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.65.21.60 (talk) 06:29, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
- Based on the 2013-14 competition regulations (I don't think the regulations for 2014-15 are available yet) I agree with you. I will do a bit more research on the matter before changing the table though. ScoobyHugh (talk) 11:09, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed. All the Irish team will qualify for the first round. Stigni (talk) 11:28, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
Flag next to Declan Devine
[edit]The flag next to Declan Devine in the 'Personnel' table has recently been changed from Northern Ireland to Republic of Ireland. My understanding (via Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Icons#Use_of_flags_for_sportspersons) is that the flag used should be of Northern Ireland as he represented them at U-21 level and never made any appearances for any RoI side. I'm going to change the flag back to how it was; this message is here for reference should there be any further disagreement. ScoobyHugh (talk) 11:38, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
First Division table
[edit]Concerning the promotion/relegation play-off, the teams finishing second and third in the First Division play each other first, then the winner plays the second-from-bottom Premier team, so this should be reflected in the First Division table. Culloty82 (talk) 19:53, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
