"the competition's inaugural edition was attended by over 110,000 people across the two days.[3]" Much like in the other review, I don't see the relevance of this.
"Portuguese outfit" Outfit means something entirely different to these American ears...
"The only goal of the game was scored by Felipe Melo," Who played for which team?
"The score ended 1–0;" I've read this paragraph a few times. It's totally unclear who won the game.
Talk about the matches in chronological order. This way is just confusing.

It's a summary of a pre-season tournament. IMO, there isn't a right or wrong way to go about reporting the action. The reason I changed it up was because I couldn't find differing/interesting info about the games, and when I wrote the summaries for the other cup editions it was tiring, repeating the same structure. "who made a mess of a chance in the 18th minute" Very informal language here.
What makes ref 5 reliable?
