Serie A Detailed Schedule
[edit]I realize that as of July 22, 2013, the Serie A schedule for this upcoming season has not yet been set, but I refer you do the Italian Serie A page for the 2012-13 season:
look under the heading Calendario e risultati and you will find the detailed schedule listing for the past season. I am hoping that for this year, our community will add a similar schedule, something that has been done on the italian side since wikipedia was established. Such a schedule is only possible in leagues similar to Seria A which have a set double round-robin format where every team plays one game per round. For those who bring up the copyright issues that involve the English Premier League, please note that no such copyright restrictions exist for the Serie A schedule. Please comment.AntropovNikki (talk) 03:12, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
Club Emblems in front of Team Names
[edit]Can we remove all the club emblems from the various tables in this article? It clutters the information unnecessarily and is rather distracting. Italia2006 (talk) 14:36, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
- Of course. He copied from the italian wikipedia. Stigni (talk) 15:56, 2 September 2013 (UTC)
Goals/assists reference
[edit]The current goals/assists table reference from Soccerway lists Gervinho at 9 assists and Pogba at 6. In comparison, more highly regarded sources such as Corriere dello Sport, ESPN, or WhoScored list Gervinho being the sole table leader at 10 assists, with Pogba having only 5. Pogba's own player profile on juventus.com also has him at 5 assists. The fact that our current source gives Pogba one more assist that elsewhere indicates this is not an updating issue, rather it is either an error or a different method to record assists. As a result, I am replacing the current source with ESPN. Do U(knome)? yes...or no 23:09, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
- Alessio Cerci has 11 assists which is some sort of record according to corriedellosport [1]. Transfermarkt is shunned, but they're pretty accurate for these things and also report 11.Danieletorino2 (talk) 16:19, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
Inter Milan as TQ for Europa League
[edit]It's mentioned that Inter are qualified for the EL next year on eurosport and here too, but if Torino and AC Milan win both of their games, they finish on 61 and 60 points, respectively. Inter now has 60 with equal head to head record against Milan, so it is possible they finish 7th. Nayefjuve (talk) 00:32, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
- Yes that is why I removed the TQ. They have not mathematically qualified yet. QED237 (talk) 00:51, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
Parma not playing EL?
[edit]I couldn't find any source that says Parma is excluded from European competition next season. One source from May 14 mentions that they made a late payment for taxes due to a misunderstanding, but no decision was made then or now. Nayefjuve (talk) 18:37, 26 May 2014 (UTC)
