Expansion and moving of title

[edit]

May I request for an expansion, and a move of title to "2012 Senkaku Islands sovereignty dispute" or something similar? The reason being that this entire incident IS based on the dispute over the islands (Diaoyu/Senkaku), involves activists on both sides embarking onto the involved islands, protests across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas Chinese (for example in USA), so limiting it just to talking about the protests in China is quite restrictive. Demonstrators from the Chinese diaspora in Hong Kong

[edit]

Since when did Chinese in Hong Kong become diaspora? They are natives. --2.245.242.24 (talk) 21:50, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting Pages

[edit]

The article is titled "China anti-Japanese demonstrations", but it includes activities between Japan and Taiwan. No matter what your political stance is on Chinese-Taiwanese relations, we should be able to agree that Taiwan is de facto independent (as is implied, although not strongly enough, by the article itself) from China; therefore, this page should only discuss the Japanese-Chinese relationship on the matter, with the Taiwanese-Japanese side separated into a different page. Any comments and criticisms for the idea? 163.29.35.147 (talk) 03:02, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
