Mentioning the 2011 season without specifying the team's record?
[edit]- The lead makes reference to the 2011 season: "In the previous season, the Bruins were the South Division Champions and played in the Pac-12 Conference Championship game, where they were defeated by Oregon. The team also played in the post season Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco, where they lost to Illinois." However, a user (Ucla90024) has for some reason decided to omit the team's overall record from this sentence... "In the previous season, the Bruins had a 6-8 overall record, were the South Division Champions and played in the Pac-12 Conference Championship game, where they were defeated by Oregon. The team also played in the post season Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco, where they lost to Illinois."(Emphasis added) I think we should either 1) focus on the 2012 team by removing this sentence or 2) include the sentence with a mention of the team's record. Including an overview of the 2011 season, while omitting the team's record, seems like we're trying to hide something unnecessarily. Thoughts? --Kingofthai87 (talk) 22:01, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
