Unless this was actually endorsed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) (or LOCOG at a push), and there isn't anything in the article to suggest it was, then we shouldn't be using "Olympic" in the title. I understand that it took place during the Games and used some of the famous faces linked to them but the title suggests a much stronger link than that - Basement12 (T.C) 09:59, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thats beacause there is a strong link. Hundreds of sources are calling it the "Olympic Hunger Summit", including official ones like Her Majesty's Foreign Office and No 10 itself. FeydHuxtable (talk) 10:12, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
My worry is that the IOC are rightly very protective of the use of "Olympic", lots of things try and piggyback onto the hype, and I thought it might just be the media applying the title, but if No 10 is using that name it's fine. I'd suggest adding in some of the Government sources to confirm this - Basement12 (T.C) 10:36, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, youre not wrong, they even went after a hairdresser a few blocks from me who used the word in her window display! I added the No 10 source to the article. Ive skimmed dozens of sources that imply the summit was IOC endorsed , but haven’t found one that says so explicitly. Id guess that for writers closely involved, it’s the sort of think that seems too obvious to mention. Will have a further look when wiki time allows.
