Controversy regarding Steaua-Chelsea attendance
[edit]The websites soccerway.com, bbc.co.uk and espnfc.com announce that 45.000 were present to the game. All these websites are accepted as source for other games. Someboby from Romania keeps changing my edit, introducing a local obscure website as source. This conflict needs mediation. Eddie Nixon (talk) 19:39, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Local sources are credible first, then secondary. Read the Soccer Project please. Ziare.com announced 50.016: ziare.com, which is the official UEFA number. BBC, ESPN and Soccerway published the number from the site of Chelsea. Eddie Nixon is a Dinamo fan. Eddie, you should check the video replay (IT WAS ANNOUNCED ON TELEVISION) to see who is right and then to apologize. 45,000 is an approximated number while 50.016 not.
- Translation from Romanian article:
- Cifra prezentata de oficialul Stelei este contrazisa insa de UEFA, forul continental anuntand o asistenta de numai 50.016 de spectatori la aceasta intalnire.
- UEFA announced that 50.016 spectators were attending at this meeting.
- Sorry, ESPN, BBC got it from Chelsea site which is not an official source.
- I am posting a video, now please explain me Eddie Nixon, where are those 10,600 empty seats? Because the stadium holds 55,600.

- Local sources should be taken into consideration for a local event. This is an European event, and European sources are more objective, more neutral, more reliable than local ones. Eddie Nixon (talk) 20:07, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- The proof is in the video. Chelsea site just approximated the number. The local press number was announced on television, moreover it is not approximated because the turnstiles recorded it. UEFA is imposing you to announce the clearnumber showed on turnstiles. If you contest that, it says a lot about objectivity. I don't care you are a Dinamo fan, really, I came with the proof. Dancewithwolfves (talk) 20:22, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Stop mentioning that I'm a Dinamo fan. It is irrelevant because you're a Steaua fan, so there's complicated to say who is more objective. I cited external sources because they aren't so biased as the Romanian ones. You have cited a dubious website and a video filmed from the third ring of the stadium. Who's to say that beneath this ring there aren't 20.000 empty seats? UEFA asked that only 50.016 tickets were to be sold (without 10% of the entire capacity). Among these 50.000 seats, there are 5.000 empty, and can be seen on your video. As a consequence, only 45.000 were occupied. QED. Eddie Nixon (talk) 21:06, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- I agree with Eddie Nixon, the number of tickets sold is not the number of attendence. Who many buy the ticket and didn't go to see the match? How many of that has a season ticket? They said the number of ticket sold not how many people was in the stadium. Stigni (talk) 21:16, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Rubin Kazan
[edit]Since Rubin Kazan played in their stadium during the group stage, why hasn't it been the case in the play-offs so far? Schnapper (talk) 11:50, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
