Gonchar trade

[edit]

It seems to me this trade should be listed under this article as technically it happened during the 2012–13 season and not during the following season. Maybe Project Ice Hockey has their own ideas on this, but that`s my 2 cents. ChakaKongtalk 17:50, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Since the NHL trade deadline for the 2012-13 season was in March (or April) I feel this has to be a 2013-14 trade...but I don't know. Piemann16 (talk)
But the the 2012–13 season is still in progress. ChakaKongtalk 18:53, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I tried to look up a trade that would fall in this category and last season's Vokoun to Pittsburgh trade happened around this time frame, looks like it was listed in the season currently on going. I will correct this, sorry for the confusion. Piemann16 (talk)

Usually consider the end of the Stanley Cup Final to be the last date of the NHL season. Then it is the off-season of 2013-14. The draft is the first event of 2013-14. Then there is the buyout period, and the start of free agency. The Senators were really early to make this trade. I think that was because the KHL had made an offer to Gonchar, so the Sens helped him out. Alaney2k (talk) 19:28, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Points leader

[edit]

Should Cory Conacher be listed as team co-leader for points? Virtually all of those points were scored when Conacher was with the Lightning. ChakaKongLet's talk about it 22:09, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
