[edit]

Was EJ not a Portland Timbers (USL) for previous club, or does this list include the loan to Austin Aztex, god rest them? And does this even matter? SportingFlyer (talk) 06:41, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Technically, yes, he was signed by the USL Timbers during last season and loaned back to Austin for the remainder of the season. Maybe we could put a footnote about it next to the Austin Aztex link? DemonJuice (talk) 16:18, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added a note. How's that? DemonJuice (talk) 16:51, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Match Box Inclusions

[edit]

Is there a consensus on whether or not to include yellow cards in the match boxes? I know many other team season pages do, but I did find some that do not? Is there a place this can be discussed at a higher level so there is a set standard across all similar pages? --Adam (talk) 20:56, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There's a WikiProject dedicated to season articles that is attempting to gather consensus and draft guidelines: WP:SEASONS. The talk page for the project would be the place to discuss that. As it stands, there's not much consensus on anything. I've been going by the "rule" that articles about a specific match should always have yellow cards, articles about specific competitions (like the 2011 Open Cup) can have them if desired (but I stick to the convention already in use in the article... if it has them then I'll add them with new results... if it doesn't, I won't), and season articles which have a broad overview of several competitions should never have them. Kit section?

[edit]

Hi, I would like to create a team kit section to show the alternative kit combinations, the white home shorts and socks? Luxusfrosch (talk) 13:43, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm neutral on the addition of a kit section. DemonJuice (talk) 15:03, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article prose

[edit]

If anybody would like to help finish the prose on this article, I'd welcome the help. I think I was way too wordy, especially in the regular season prose. It should probably be boiled down to the important parts and have a lot of it cut out. If it continues the way I started it, the article will be ridiculously long. I'm hoping to get around to it but somebody is welcome to trim out a bunch (if not the majority) of what I wrote and finish it up in a more brief style.
