Possible correction of Location and Coordinates
[edit]{{geodata-check}}
Could someone please verify the correct location for this incident? The current Location may be confusing the "Dera Ghazi Khan" city with the district of the same name. And therefore the current Coordinates might be wrong as well.
The page's Reference no. 1 (The Express Tribune) writes "at the shrine, sited some 40 kilometres away from Dera Ghazi Khan city", and the page's reference no. 2 (telegraph.co.uk) writes "13th century Sufi saint Ahmed Sultan, popularly known as Sakhi Sarwar, in Dera Ghazi Khan district".
When I use Google Maps to search for the string "Sakhi Sarwar shrine in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab Province, Pakistan", I get 29°59′12″N 70°18′08″E / 29.98656°N 70.30213°E, which is also marked on Google Maps with an icon and title as "Sakhi Sarwar's shrine".
And finally, the page's reference no. 7 is a newspaper article apparently written by a journalist stationed at Dera Ghazi Khan city, but says of the incident that it took place "at Darbar Sakhi Sarwar, some 35 kilometres from here" -- and according to Google Maps, 35 kilometers is the distance from Dera Ghazi Khan city westwards to the Sakhi Sarwar shrine.
If my assumption is correct, then the problem is that the Location and Coordinates on the current version of the page seem to refer to the Dera Ghazi Khan city itself.
So, could someone please verify that this page should be corrected to the Location of "Sakhi Sarwar shrine in Dera Ghazi Khan _district_, Punjab Province, Pakistan" and the Coordinates of 29°59′12″N 70°18′08″E / 29.98656°N 70.30213°E ?
(By the way, if my assumption is correct, then there's another edit that should also be made in another page, i.e. the page for "Sakhi_Sarwar", section Incidents, which also points to the city itself -- with the phrase "In nearby Dera Ghazi Khan"...)

- Done After reviewing your evidence and other evidence, I've concluded that your analysis is spot on. In addition to the points you've adduced, note that the entrance building of the shrine (clearly visible in the Bing aerial view), the coordinates of which I've used, appears to match the building shown in the photo in reference 7. I've made the necessary changes in both this article and Sakhi Sarwar. Deor (talk) 11:35, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
