Checking against GA criteria

[edit]
GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
Gasparotto turned in a fourth place ride at Tre Valli Varesine, equal closest to victory in a single-day race with the two leaders' performances earlier in the season. I think I understand this, but the construction is rather clumsy. Can you recast it? Done
An MRI taken after the Romandie prologue, spurred by the Croatian suffering severe shoulder pain, revealed that he had a cracked vertebra. MRI should be wikilinked, I think "spurred" is the wrong word here. Done
Kreuziger, along with most of the race's best riders, was again distanced by Contador on the Grossglockner, "out-distanced" not "distanced" Done
'' He had surgery in Aurillac the next day, with recovery time such that the injury likely meant the end of his season, and consequently, his career. A little clumsy Done
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Sources are RS, statements adequately cited, no OR. It would be good if publication dates in citations were consistent
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
    Good coverage
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
    NPOV
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
    Stable
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
One image used, adequately licensed and captioned.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
On hold for seven days for above issues to be addressed. Jezhotwells (talk) 18:01, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks for fixing those issues. I am now happy to list this. Congratulations! Jezhotwells (talk) 01:20, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
