Removal of all International debuts
[edit]I plan to remove all international television debuts on Monday, 27 September 2010 10:00am AEST, my reasoning is as follows:
- 1. This article is clearly too long and is slow loading because of it.
- 2. Other articles such as 2010 in British television, 2010 in American television etc. do NOT list debuts of International series
- 3. The article contains a major amount of references for any article, most of which belong to International series debuts
If no other users have a problem with this, I will proceed with my planned mass removal Mr.Television (talk) 08:35, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- I agree that the article is very long, but couldn't it just be split into another article like List of international television series premieres on Australian television in 2009 rather than completely removed? Also the domestic premieres could also be spun off into another article like List of Australian television series premieres in 2009. I believe List of international television series premieres on Australian television in 2010 and List of Australian television series premieres in 2010 would be suitable locations for this information. I'll be willing to assist if you so require. Themeparkgc Talk 09:10, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going to start to split it now since the pages I suggested above have already been included in the infobox as redlinks. Themeparkgc Talk 02:36, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- I have moved specialty programmes from both international and domestic sections into their own articles, List of international specialty programme premieres on Australian television in 2010 and List of Australian television specialty programme premieres in 2010. Could you please add these articles into the {({2010 in Australian television})} template, thanks in advance, have a nice day. Mr.Television (talk) 06:30, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- How's all that? I've slightly modified the structure of a few things including the template. Themeparkgc Talk 07:02, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- Very nice, easy to navigate through. Thanks for your cleanup of the tempalte, have a nice day Mr.Television (talk) 10:53, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Request Un-wikilinking of television programmes already aired
[edit]I beleive all television programmes from their respective lists should be un-wikilinked, since a article would of been created for that programme if it was important. Agree or Disagree? Mr.Television (talk) 14:03, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- Are you talking about the removal of redlinks or blue links as well? Once the year is over, and no article has been created for a show, I would probably recommend de-linking the red links only. As for de-linking blue links you do not have my support. Themeparkgc Talk 06:03, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- Whoops, forgot to mention only red links, I would never remove blue links unless they lead to the wrong target article and i agree with the notion of waiting until the year is over. Have a nice day. Mr.Television (talk) 06:29, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
