1st non-G8 nation to chair G20
[edit]The following edit was merited because the sentence it challenged was inartfully written:
- diff 18:51, 13 July 2010 IANVS (talk | contribs) (18,742 bytes) (Wrong info. G-20 was already chaired by Mexico, Australia, Brazil, South Africa and India outside the G8. See: official G20 website)
- POOR: "Korea becomes the first non-G8 nation to chair the G20 and to host an international gathering.<:ref>Oliver, Christian. "Seoul: S Korea looks forward to its own party," Financial Times. June 25, 2010.</ref>
- BETTER: "Korea becomes the first non-G8 nation to chair the G20 and to host an international gathering of heads of state and government."
In the next few weeks, perhaps I will be able to supplement this citation with another which expresses substantially the same thing. --Tenmei (talk) 01:06, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Summit location
[edit]From what I've heard, the summit venue has changed from the incomplete artificial islands to the COEX convention center. Appropriate changes should be made. Just throwing it out there since I have no time to make edits with proper citations. Humorahead01 (talk) 19:01, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
Missing what actually did get decided
[edit]The article miss what actually was decided at the meeting. --Kslotte (talk) 18:24, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, of course you are correct, but the newspaper reports at this point are still a little vague, aren't they? --Tenmei (talk) 20:32, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
Re-inventing the wheel
[edit]The process of working on this article was unique.
At the same time, some of the steps in collaborative editing may be similar to other articles about other summits.
It is reasonable to list a few comments about what was learned during work on the 2010 G-20 Seoul summit?
Perhaps this thread can help mitigate lessons learned the hard way? --Tenmei (talk) 21:32, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
File:2010 G-20 Seoul summit.jpg to appear as POTD soon
[edit]Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:2010 G-20 Seoul summit.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on October 2, 2013. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2013-10-02. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. Thanks! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:26, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry for the post-posting comment, but this photo is supremely boring as a Featured Pic. In publishing, posed large-group shots, especially 'official' ones, are notorious for being dull. Sca (talk) 14:32, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
