Have Vauxhall actually announced anything yet? And can we have a COnfirmed/Likely/Possible/Unlikely column in the Teams/Drivers list?--MartinUK (talk) 10:12, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alan Morrison

[edit]

Morrison needs to be added to the driver changes section. Has morrison done anything else since we last saw him in the btcc- if not then enter him under re-entering btcc with a five year sabbatical. Thanks Petera93 (talk) 17:53, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm able to answer my own question- he said on touringcartimes that he hasnt driven anything for five years. Petera93 (talk) 17:55, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rounds & 'Leaving'

[edit]

Hughes and O'Neill will both miss round 1. Plato is so far only confirmed for one round. And the 'leaving BTCC' section needs updating based on which 2008 drivers are gone for 2009 - Jackson and Kane are glaring absentees. Anybody looking at this page would think 2009 has a stronger entry than 2008, which is pretty debatable.--MartinUK (talk) 00:18, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thruxton

[edit]

Mat Jackson confirmed as driving for RML in Chevrolet Lacetti at Thruxton. http://www.btcc.net/html/generalnews_detail.php?id=1385NendoShisu (talk) 16:10, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

30 Rounds?

[edit]

I've always considered the series to have 10 rounds of 3 races each. Using the number of races in the 'rounds entered' column seems strange, especially as we've ignored which drivers missed one of the races within a meeting. I propose changing them so that Thompson's reads 2-7 rather than 4-21.--MartinUK (talk) 13:58, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I thought the same but I think the problem here is that each induvidual race is referred to as a 'round' by the BTCC. Listen to Steve Rider in the ITV4 coverage and he wil say 'Welcome to Silverstone for rounds 22, 23 and 24 of the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship'. I think it has to stay as it is for that reason. - mspete93 [talk] 18:19, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Using terminology other than that used by the BTCC is technically WP:OR. --Falcadore (talk) 21:33, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Then again - btcc.net uses 10 rounds - mspete93 [talk] 17:59, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article quality

[edit]

Why is there only two sentences of text in such a long article? --Falcadore (talk) 16:21, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And why is there pole position and fastest lap information portrayed in the Calednar table? This information has nothing to do with calendar and should be deleted. --Falcadore (talk) 03:26, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
