[edit]Given that we have this, this, this, this, I don't see why this article should be deleted. Chanheigeorge (talk) 16:05, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- I agree to keep this article, but I'd like to remark that you gave examples of Champions League qualifiers and subsequently can't be used as arguments for the Europa League. Rhand007 (talk) 19:31, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Dinaburg-Kalju 1st leg 1st round game
[edit]Somebody keeps changing 1st round 1st leg game's stadium - it is not Celtnieks Stadium, but Daugava Stadium. It is not the same stadium. And the fact that Daugava Stadium doesn't have it's own wiki article doesn't change that. Here at UEFA official page you can see "Daugava". And see this poster. At Latvian Football Federation oficial page you can see, that "Dinaburg" is playing at two home stadiums - "Daugava" and "Celtnieks".- Mrom (talk) 15:08, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]I propose that UEFA Europa League 2009–10 qualifying phase and UEFA Europa League 2009–10 play-off round be merged. Although UEFA regulations technically treat these stages as separate, neither stage constitutes the "competition proper", which only begins at the group stage. This is especially noted when tallying the top goalscorers in the competition, for which only goals scored from the group stage onwards are counted. Furthermore, I see no point in creating an individual article for a single round of the competition. The only round that should have its own article is the final, and that is because it is a notable match on its own merits. – PeeJay 13:26, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
AA Gent - AS Roma
[edit]According to both clubsites the order of the games is switched. So AS Roma will play at home on 30 July, and at 6 August they'll play in Gent (Italian source & Belgian source), the UEFA website didn't change it yet though so I have no idea if we have to wait until they change it before we can adjust it as well. Any thoughts on this? Rhand007 (talk) 15:10, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Some one trying to get a broad view of the above should receive a little introductory information in this section. This is my suggestion. Þjóðólfr (talk) 19:24, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
