Does Wiki really need to be an advertiser for various bowl sponsors?
[edit]"Allstate" Sugar Bowl. "Konica Minolta" Gator Bowl. etc., etc., -- is there any particular reason that Wiki bothers to actually identify the sponsor's names with these bowls? I get why the sports nets do it, they don't want to tick off advertisers. Why is it needful here to refer to these games as anything other than the "Sugar Bowl" or the "Gator Bowl". About the only time this is justified is when the entire reason the bowl exists is because the sponsor has initiated the bowl in the first place, hardly the case for about 90% of the bowls.

- There is no need to refer to the "Orange Bowl" as the "FedEx Orange Bowl" as wikipedia is not receiving revenues for advertising for FedEx, however, it does seem unfair to remove some sponsors names and not others. What about the Chick-fil-A Bowl, should if be replaced with the Peach Bowl? -- DrWarEagle (talk) 01:49, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Map has wrong color for AL.
[edit]The map shows Alabama in black, indicating 4 or more bowl games. I believe there are only 3 in the state - PapaJohns (B'ham), GMAC and Senior (Mobile). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.181.12.111 (talk) 15:31, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
- I see AL in dark green, indicating 2, the correct number. 4 or more is shown in dark red... Ryan2845 (talk) 15:44, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
