Reserve players

[edit]

This article is about the Arsenal's 1st team. So, I believe information about the reserve team, such as, Reserve squad and Transfer In and Out of reserve players, does not belong here. On the Squad Stats, they should appear since they are playing 1st team's matches. --ClaudioMB (talk) 00:37, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am inclined to agree that information about the reserve team does not belong on this page, and that reserve players should only be included here if they play for the 1st time, such as in the League Cup. Spiritofsussex (talk) 18:57, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Results Section

[edit]

An anonymous user (124.190.162.245) has begun changing the Matches and results section over to a new format.

Such a change is something that would appear to be quite useful, and it makes, in my opinion, the section clearer, easier and quicker to understand. Therefore, does anyone have any objection to the new format being retained, and the old format being dropped in favour of this newer one? Spiritofsussex (talk) 10:38, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've now put all of the season's results into this new format, alongside the old format, so the new format can be compared like for like with the older version, and hopefully this will help people make a judgement on which version is more appropriate for use in the article. Arsenal is rated #1 on round 22 though it isn't played yet, would it not be prudent to wait for the results from the other clubs? Wether Arsenal is really the no. 1 after round 22 is pure speculation atm Sandman888 (talk) 19:08, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Although it says 'round', the table is more updated on a match by match basis. It would be quite difficult to do it by round as each team is playing there 22nd match at different times, especially this season because of rearranged fixtures because of the weather. Transfer / current squad

[edit]

Did fabregas take part in an exchange deal with Giovanni von Bronkhorst? It says so on Gio's page? Sandman888 (talk) 22:34, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Starting 11

[edit]

The appearances list claims to be ordered by 'starting 11' first. I think you'll find that, if it is, it should include Robin van Persie in the first eleven names rather than Nic Bendtner(!)... 'most used' is not necessarily the best way to determine a starting XI. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.158.60.8 (talk) 09:01, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'll be reviewing this article, hopefully I can give it a pass in a day or two if you're responsive. Ammar Elbehery (talk) 19:59, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Great article, didn't find a single flaw (other than the lead section having no citations, but the same information was written later in the article with citations, so that's not a problem). I've passed it now. Ammar Elbehery (talk) 22:25, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
