Map colors

[edit]

Hey @Asdasdasdff, sorry to bother you on such a minute thing. But I was wondering if you would be open to maybe changing the colors on the map to match with Wikipedia:WikiProject Elections and Referendums/USA legend colors#Downballot colors for Democratic (alternative) and Republican (alternative). It may be more of a preference thing on my end, but a lot of the newer supreme court election maps use that color scheme (or it seems they do) so I thought it'd be nice for us to maybe standardize all of them with those colors. Oh. I wasn't aware of that. I just grabbed the color scheme from the 2018 map because I assumed they were all already standardized! But yes, lets make it uniform. -- Asdasdasdff (talk) 17:55, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'm on it, I have the maps all prepped, I just need to get permissions to overwrite the files and update the maps Talthiel (talk) 18:30, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I know this is outside of our control, but the Republican (Alternate) color scheme looks kind of broken between the 60-70 and 70-80 ranges. The 70 and above look like they're from a different palette. -- Asdasdasdff (talk) 18:56, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think that fix would require going to the talk page, but it is what it is for now. Talthiel (talk) 19:04, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright so I have updated all the files @Asdasdasdff Talthiel (talk) 20:27, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
