Mogul earthquake sequence

[edit]

Regarding the name of the sequence of quakes, in addition to a recent article in National Geographic[1], multiple news outlets across the nation are indicating that the name of the series of earthquakes is the "Mogul earthquake sequence". N Yo FACE (talk) 02:44, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The University of Nevada titles its information page "West Reno Earthquake". Google shows the following: Reno earthquake 373,000 hits, Mogul earthquake 75,000 hits, Somersett earthquake 84,000 hits, Verdi earthquake 48,000 hits, West Reno earthquake 93,000 hits. Reno wins by a landslide so far. Tmangray (talk) 03:14, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
At http://www.seismo.unr.edu/feature/2008/mogul.html it's called Mogul-Somersett Earthquake Sequence; West Reno, Nevada. Eeekster (talk) 04:27, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
