Minor party members
[edit]Athelwulf, in this edit -- I think the original version is a little cleaner (though your formulation is correct as well.) Minor parties do not have the ability to conduct their nomination via the primary ballot; they instead hold their own nominating procedures according to their own bylaws. So, it's accurate to say that only registered Democrats and Republicans may vote in partisan primaries under the current system. -Pete (talk) 11:00, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
