Campaigning via Wikipedia
[edit]I just removed a lot of extended biography, bias statements, long lists of endorsements, etc. These don't belong on Wikipedia. It's ok to have a link to the campaign site as a reference because it announces the candidacy. Also, this needs updated reflect who won which primary. You need to add Libertarian, Green and other 3rd party candidates to this page or it may violate fair election or campaign finance laws. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.139.36.226 (talk) 10:15, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Biographies and bias
[edit]This article is a mess, rife with unsourced statements about living persons and POV comments that border on libel. Examples include: "[he] has never accomplished anything on his own merit", "[she] has no experience that directly prepares her to assume the role", "[they] bear a striking resemblance to Elmer Fudd". And what does a candidate's zodiac sign have to do with anything? Welcome to Campaign 2008, I guess... what a load of crap. Kevin Forsyth (talk) 16:26, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
It looks like these issues were fixed a long time ago so I took off the attention needed notice. -Krieger — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrKrieger (talk • contribs) 21:47, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
2013 Overhaul
[edit]I have overhauled the article, adding an election box for each district, an election infobox, and linked to the Gongwer page on the election. It now generally matches the state House elections which follow it. Aaronjbaylis (talk) 22:24, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
