WR and ER

[edit]

The result for the women's 4x200 m Freestyle Relay says: "7:38.90 WR, ER", but isn't this a bit redundant? If a European (Dutch) entry sets a world record, isn't it obvious that this is also a European record? AecisBrievenbus 18:29, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"GBR" does not equal "United Kingdom"

[edit]

All "United Kingdom"s on the page need to be changed to "Great Britain". (In the Olympic sports, British athletes compete for "Great Britain" (it's why the acronym is "GBR"). I even believe that Northern Ireland competes as part of Ireland, and not Great Britain.) Hooperswim (talk) 02:11, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
