OFI are relegated after 28 matches...
[edit]...because they have lost both games against Levadiakos and thus would still be in the relegation zone on a possible tie on points due to the tie-breaking procedure. Panserraikos, however, have not lost both of their matches against Levadiakos and thus still have the mathematical possibility to stay in the Super League. --Soccer-holic (talk) 22:56, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hang on, I take everything back... This article (in Greek) says that there will be decision games in case of equal points between the teams in 13th and 14th place, which automatically means that OFI still have theoretical chances. A big "Thank you" to Dimitrissss for pointing to the article! --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 21:30, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
criteria for classification on the League Table are incorrect!
[edit]According to article 20 of the 2007-2008 Superleague Rules (ΚΑΠ)[1], the criteria for classification of teams with equal points are: (i) the points produced in the head-to-head games and (ii) the difference of the goals on the head-to-head games. If the teams have equal points after these criteria have been taken into account, then the two teams play one game in a neutral place. As far as I understand, there is nowhere described that (i) the difference of all goals in the league or (ii) the number of the goals conceived in total during the league affect the classification of teams with equal points, as is currently written on this article. I think that the classification rules 5 and 6 that appear on the current article should be checked about their accuracy. Thank you very much. Ampws (talk) 22:24, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Checked (via GT) and changed. Thanks for pointing that out! --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 22:49, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry Soccer-holic to make such a fuss, but, it's still wrong!!! Current 4rth criterion is wrong. There is no 'head-to-head goals' classification rule :( Rules 1, 2, 3 and 5, as they appear in the current article, are the only that apply. Many thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ampws (talk • contribs) 00:23, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Teams By Region - Link tagged "Macedonia" wrong
[edit]The link within the "teams by region" for Macedonia is currently pointing to the Country of Macedonia (Republic of Macedonia) rather than the region of Greece that is called "Macedonia" in Greece.
The teams listed in the "Macedonia" region in that table are all in the "Greek Region" of Macedonia. (Obviously, being the local Greek League.
I suggest we change the link to point to "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macedonia_(Greece)"
