2007 Terengganu Riot
( )
- ... that police shot two men during a peaceful rally-turned-riot in Terengganu, Malaysia? Source: "At 11.45pm, a general duty police constable allegedly shoots PAS members Suwandi Abdul Ghani (left), 37, and Muhamad Azman Aziz, 21, near Permai Inn Hotel. In all, four shots are fired. Police later say the constable was acting in self-defence after being surrounded and assaulted by 20 people." ([1])

- I have some concerns about the article that need to be addressed as soon as possible. Firstly, the article states that there was a plan to hold some kind of inquiry on the incident, as discussed in the "Aftermath" section. However, the section doesn't seem to have any updates on what happened to that inquiry, or what were its findings. Secondly, while the hook is technically acceptable, it sounds like a news report rather than a hook and doesn't give much context about the event (it doesn't even mention the year, which could make people assume that it happened this year!). These need to be resolved before this can be approved. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 02:04, 13 July 2019 (UTC)

- The nominator has been unable to return to the nomination in spite of pings and talk page messages. Marking for closure as stale. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 04:13, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
