Is 'to candidate' a verb? Widmerpool 17:27, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. I've changed 'candidating' to 'standing'. Plus they are not standing for deputy prime minister so I've deleted that too. 144.82.107.37 14:30, 17 May 2007 (UTC)akashpaun[reply]

Why are there pictures of two of the candidates only, that's a bit POV isn't it. I'll try and find pics for the other four. Tomgreeny 00:38, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update: looks like thanks to the copyright Nazis we don't have any usable images of the others. Should we just delete the photos of these two so as to not show bias? Tomgreeny 00:45, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

44-5

[edit]

The article reads, "All 6 declared candidates secured more than the 45 nominations that was the minimum.... Harriet Harman who... was reported to have secured the minimum 44 nominations". So which is it, 44 or 45? -86.146.46.45 18:45, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My understanding is that each candidate needs 45 backers including the candidate him/herself. So 44 others. Akashpaun 15:35, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Final Two Rounds of voting

[edit]

Round 4 Jon Cruddas 7.65% 8.18% 13.61% 29.44% Harriet Harman 10.29% 13.82% 9.46% 33.58% Alan Johnson 15.39% 10.70% 10.25% 36.35%

Jon Cruddas eliminated.

Round 5 Harriet Harman 15.42% 18.83% 16.18% 50.43% Alan Johnson 17.91% 14.50% 17.15% 49.56%

Corbyn's Deputy Nomination

[edit]

The source for Corbyn nominating Benn is only relevant to the first part of the sentence (his consideration of standing himself). Given his current Leadership of the Labour Party it would be useful to have a source for his nomination of Hilary Benn as Deputy. MelloDrachmatic (talk) 15:03, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
