"Byrd's Congressional Election Results"

[edit]

Why is this section here? It belongs in Byrd's personal article, not in an overview of the 2006 campaign. --Ajdz 00:27, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since Byrd has served in the United States Congress since 1953, I think it is necessary for the results to be shown to show the progression of his career. Afterall, this could be Byrd's toughest re-election fight since Benedict. The results can also be placed in his biography, which I would like to update if I had time. Since no one has commented on this topic, I will consider the topic mute. The Election Results stay. Byrdin2006 19:42, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the Congressional results to Byrd's personal article. After the 2006 election is completed, no one is going to look for them in the article they currently are in.
If they are relevant to the current election (as in, this could be Byrd's toughest re-election fight), then that should be so stated (with a verifiable link/source, of course). John Broughton 19:06, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture of Mr. Raese

[edit]

I am going to e-mail some websites to try to get permission to put a picture of Mr. Raese on the page.... Actually, I am not having much luck. So, if someone has an easier way to get a picture, please find it. Byrdin2006 19:59, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can't believe that if you call the campaign headquarters, they would turn your request down. And obviously any picture should be posted to the Raese article as well as to this one. John Broughton 23:15, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't call the campaign headquarters. I wanted to just get one off the Internet and ask a website, but I can't really find a good picture of him. Byrdin2006 00:18, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
