Another NASCAR article eh? Well I am going to have a little break before I review this article. Looks good at first glance however. good888 (talk) 16:01, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks again! Take your time, please. I'll also try to take care of some of the simple fixes on the Jamaican Olympic article as well. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 16:48, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Time for the review:

Lead section

  • "160,000 people attended the race." Do you have TV figures as well?

Report

  • "They threw a curveball at us this morning with the restrictor plate and (engine builder) Doug Yates wasn't worried at all." Link Doug Yates.
  • "David Gilliland, driving for Robert Yates Racing, won the pole position with a time of 49.950" Suggest rewrite to: David Gilliland, driving for Robert Yates Racing, qualified on the pole position with a time of 49.950".
  • "Gilliland had fallen back to 30th place after losing the draft." I would perfer that you link draft with Drafting (aerodynamics).
  • Add the TV figures (if there are any) in the post-race section with a source.

And that's all I can find. I will promote once they are addressed. good888 (talk) 19:42, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Good888:  Done everything except the number of viewers; it appears I am unable to locate them. Thanks again, I'll try to finish copyedits to the Olympic article this weekend as time permits. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 14:11, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Bentvfan54321: Thanks for taking interest in the Olympic article. As for this article, it's a shame they didn't publish the figures. The rest of the article is good though, so I will promote to GA class! good888 (talk) 14:55, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
